Energy-intensive companies need more support from the European Union, a group of large European industrial associations said in a statement released in Brussels on Tuesday. The steel industry needs - massive amounts of reliable electricity - now their words - "the steel industry needs large amounts of carbon-free electricity generated from renewables to produce green steel" is the crock part - that translated to human speak means they want the green credits to offset the cost of the highest priced electricity in the world! That means more government handouts in the form of tax credits...
