Petroleum accounts for about four-fifths of Hawaii's total energy consumption, the highest share for any state and once solar reaches 20% of grid capacity, than they will be issuing more rolling black outs. To be fair, the blackouts were cause by three combustion generators going offline.

Their pretty battery has already let them down. Jan 2024 rolling black outs. LOL

Great feed back!!! I am not sure of any large battery installation has worked. It seems like folks that use it for off grid solutions in small scale work - Still pricie but better than paying or hauling in gas.
