War is hell. Wars blow things up and break things. As for reparations of any kind, it's complicated. It's hardly all Russia's fault. What about all the western financial support for the war and the weapons the US and NATO have supplied to keep the war going, not to speak of also being against a peaceful settlement that would allow Russia to incorporate the Russian-speaking eastern portion of Ukraine?
