Governor Newsom continues to decrease California in-state oil production but has yet to stop oil imports from foreign nations for the state’s crude oil demands.
Imports from foreign countries, with less Environemtal controls than California, has increased imported crude oil from 5 percent in 1992 to more than 60 percent today of total consumption.
Today, foreign oil imports into CA, are demanded by the state to continue operating 9 International airports, 41 Military airports, and 3 of the largest shipping ports in America !
