DETROIT — The buzz around electric vehicles is wearing off. For years, the automotive industry has been in a state of EV euphoria. Automakers trotted out optimistic sales forecasts for electric models and announced ambitious targets for EV growth. Wall Street boosted valuations for legacy automakers and startup entrants alike, based in part on their visions for an EV future.
Here I am, betwixt a rock and a hard place. Or not, in fact. On the one hand, I have long rejected and spoken about the absurdity of changes in concentration of a trace gas composing 0.04% of Earth's atmosphere (slow in taking this in? doubling CO2 concentration brings it up to under 1/10 of 1% of the atmosphere) with human contributions to CO2 estimated at 5-20% of that 0.04%. Between that rock, as I say, and the hard place of having developed a small wind turbine to be integrated into a hybrid power system (including battery, b/u gas-fueled generator, and connections. I believe that any "green system" must be economically competitive, with other advantages, or it's not worth pursuing; and Seraph Power Systems is working in that paradigm. True environmental stewardship rejects killing birds, bats, and whales in favor of "saving the planet," and that is a good definition of "deep green," our Trademark color. Seraph Power does need financial support now, and I hope you will 1) share knowledge of us, and 2) consider whether and how much you can contribute toward getting Seraph Power toward production--here: https://igg.me/at/SeraphPowerWindTurbine
