One thing I would love you all to discuss would be the role of agrivoltaics and the abuse of the tax system by grazing a few sheep under the panels. This is a big pet peeve of mine as is all the tax abatement, subsidy system at the local, state and federal levels for these boondoggles.
Wow... they are continually pushing agrivoltaics as a great solution to loss of farm land - there is never any discussion of lost income for local counties when these industrial sites stay in ag exempt for local taxes rather than becoming commercial with a 3 year roll back!
Average loss is about $4,500 per acre of taxable value, here in Texas. So loss for a 2,000 acre site is $9,000,000 of taxable value per year. You decide if this is about grazing a few sheep!!! I don't think so!
